Sirius XM recently enhanced its internet service and the software for the Sirius XM Tabletop Internet Radio TTR1 will need to be updated. Turn the Tune Knob to scroll to and highlight “Software Update”. Turn the Tune Knob to highlight “YES” and press the Tune Knob. Please note that you may need to perform a factory reset on your radio, and everything saved on the radio will be erased. First, you may need to prompt a software update: 1. You can also program the unit to periodically check for updates in the same menu. Turn the Tune Knob to scroll to and highlight “Factory Reset”. Rather then attempt to keep up to date with the programming on each, I have chosen to point out the key areas where they differ, and let you (the reader) do the research on specific items that are most important to you.A particular sport or sports team may be carried by one service and not the other, but that could also change each year. Each system uses vastly different hardware, so a technical merger will not happen.
